When your stevia starts to bear flowers, it's time to prune them.
The one in front is a newly pruned stevia. Almost all of the leaves were taken for processing.
The one behind it has started to bear new leaves. This is one hardy herb.
What looks dead after pruning starts to regain life after several days...

Sir... where can I buy a starter cuttings of stevia which is near here in Sorsogon City? I'm so much inspired to your organic farm, and I'm planning to adopt your system in my farm.
I'm sure there are herb gardens selling stevia seedlings in your area. if not, i'm happy to give you some when you drop by in manila.
Thank you for visiting our blog. We're very happy to know that we are inspiring people to go into organic farming. You also inspire us to post more oftem and more information about organic farming practices.
Very nice and informative blog.
Hello Manny, thank you for visiting our blog.
Stevia does better under the shade, but when they are exposed to direct sunlight, they produce the sweetest leaves. You just have to water them more frequently during summer.
First... I would like to thank you Raymond for the cuttings that I bought to you in AANI, Circle. From 8 cuttings, I have now 24 cuttings. Second... try to browse the following link regarding stevia worldwide trends... http://www.steviaworldforum.com/steviapaper/SteviaPosition-P.pdf Lastly... I hope that we can have a dedicated forum regarding stevia here in the Philippines.
I'm so glad to know that your stevias are multiplying. :)
Thank you for the link, it was very informative. Happy to learn about the Stevia World event but sad to know that it costs almost 400 US dollars to participate, not to mention the transportation cost to Shanghai...
I'll be happy to share some info if there will be local forums about stevia or other organic gardening stuff.
this is a good info for us, we just have just learned this plant, I would like to plant some on my vacant lot. Hope you continue to send info on this. Are there any contraindications?
Hello, Raymond and Mariel here. We started this blog to share the developments of our small farm to all of you. We decided to call it the Daily DOSE Farm. DOSE stands for Diverse, Organic, Sustainable and Eco-friendly. Our farm is Diverse because, although small, it is home to about 100 kinds of vegetables and herbs. It also shelters hundreds of different insects, a few species of birds and billions of beneficial fungi and bacteria. We practice Organic farming. Not a drop of pesticide or a granule of synthetic fertilizer is used in our farm. We hate chemicals! We only use the best compost we can produce, freshly brewed compost tea, and the wisdom nature gave us. We support Sustainable agriculture. For us, we are only borrowing our land from our future kids and grandchildren, so we must preserve its fertility. From our farm to our stores we follow Eco-friendly practices. We use recyclable materials for packaging and encourage people to shop bringing reusable shopping bags. Shoppers with reusable bags get discounts and freebies. Join us in making our world better. We can’t imagine Mother Earth being worse than what she is today.

Kapatid,

Hello Raymond.
Kamusta?
I have a friend who's interested in growing Stevia. How can I order some cuttings?
regards,
Erwin
just visit AANI at Quezon memorial circle or FTI.
My stevia isn't growing well! I've tried to grow it several times among the other plants. I think the summer heat is killing it.
